Barbie Dream Fest has confirmed that Angel Reese will appear as a featured speaker at its 2026 weekend celebration in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The event will take place from March 27–29, 2026, and organizers announced that tickets are already on sale. The festival is known for its interactive fan experiences, workshops, panels and themed marketplace.

Reese’s appearance adds another major moment to her fast-rising career. Over the past year, she has remained one of the most talked-about young athletes in the WNBA due to her on-court production, her fashion influence and her presence across social media and brand partnerships.

Reese’s public image has grown beyond basketball. She recently became the first athlete to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She also hosts her own podcast, Unapologetically Angel, where she talks with guests about balancing multiple careers, dealing with criticism and staying in control of their own narratives.

Through the podcast, Reese has also opened up about the pressure that comes with her visibility. She has spoken about dealing with online attacks, the impact of media coverage, and the challenges of being judged beyond her performance in games.

Barbie Dream Fest made the announcement on Instagram, posting: ā€œSay hello to our featured speaker and special guest—two-time WNBA All-Star Angel Reese—taking the stage at Barbie Dream Fest!ā€

Her appearance aligns with the festival’s focus on creativity, confidence and empowerment, themes that Reese has regularly embraced while building her brand. The announcement positions her as one of the headline personalities for the 2026 edition.

The Barbie Dream Fest news arrives during Reese’s second offseason as a WNBA player. She is currently taking part in USA Basketball’s Women’s National Team training camp as one of 10 newcomers. This camp includes several young standouts such as Paige Bueckers, Caitlin Clark, Cameron Brink and JuJu Watkins.

USA Basketball leaders described this camp as a chance for young players to gain early experience at the senior level.

Angel Reese’s Year of Viral Attention

Reese has also appeared in multiple viral moments that helped grow her following. Her courtside fashion posts frequently spread across social platforms, such as when she recently wore micro shorts with a tailored grey coat and designer accessories during a recent game outing.

Another viral moment came when Reese attended an Orlando Magic game wearing a custom jersey that said ā€œMy Manā€, connected to ongoing fan speculation about her relationship with NBA player Wendell Carter Jr. The outfit gained wider attention after she posted photos from the game.

Reese’s year also included a popular collaboration with fellow star Paige Bueckers, after fans asked for a joint partnership between the two. Their appearance together at WNBA All-Star Weekend led to the creation of the ā€œPaigelā€ fanbase name, and the two later launched a candy collaboration through Reese’s and Oreo brands.

With her influence in basketball, fashion and media, organizers expect Angel Reese’s appearance to draw fans interested in both her athletic career and her off-court projects.
