When does *Wicked: One Wonderful Night *premiere?
*Wicked: One Wonderful Night *invites viewers to bask in the verdant glow of the Emerald City (via the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles) on Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Cable cutters and the linear averse will be able to watch the special on Peacock as soon as the clock ticks midnight on Nov. 7.**
What can viewers expect to see on Wicked: One Wonderful Night?
Director Jon M. Chu's first installment in the *Wicked *film series covered the first act of the hit Broadway musical on which it's based — itself an adaptation of Gregory Maguire's 1995 novel *Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West*, which is an imaginative expansion of the classic Hollywood cornerstone *The Wizard of Oz*. That Oscar-winning film, of course, was based on L. Frank Baum's 1900 children's novel, *The Wonderful Wizard of Oz*.
Most of the show-stopping numbers from *Wicked *the musical come in that first act, like Grande's "Popular," as Glinda the Good, and Erivo's "Defying Gravity," as Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West. But the upcoming sequel contains its fair share of gems — and *Wicked: One Wonderful Night *will showcase performances of songs from across the gamut.
What's more, the TV special will give fans glimpses of two new original songs created by original musical composer and lyricist Stephen Schwartz for the sequel. Erivo's "No Place Like Home" and Grande's "The Girl in the Bubble" are two of the most exciting reasons to catch *For Good*, and now to tune in to *One Wonderful Night*.
The special will additionally feature performances by a slew of *Wicked *stars, accompanied by a 37-piece live orchestra led by Tony-winning musical director Stephen Oremus; dance numbers ripped straight from the film and reimagined for the special by *Wicked *and *For Good *choreographer Christopher Scott; behind-the-scenes clips; new interviews with the cast; and a world-premiere clip from *Wicked: For Good.***

Which cast members will appear in Wicked: One Wonderful Night?
*Wicked: One Wonderful Night *finds itself in the capable hands of Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, the evening's mistresses of ceremonies.
Glinda and Elphaba themselves will be joined by Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh, who plays the dastardly Madame Morrible; Ethan Slater, who plays the pure-hearted turned vindictive munchkin Boq; Marissa Bode, who plays Elphaba's Machiavellian younger sister Nessarose; Jeff Goldblum, who plays the treacherous Wizard of Oz; and *Saturday Night Live *star Bowen Yang, who plays Pfannee, a friend of Glinda's created for the films.
Director Jon M. Chu and original composer and lyricist Stephen Schwartz will also be on hand, and in the company of several surprise guests.**

When does *Wicked: For Good *premiere?
The stage production of *Wicked *picks up in Act II right where Act I leaves off, with only a short intermission between the two. There's been a full year between *Wicked *and *Wicked: For Good*, however, meaning the sequel's November premiere can't come soon enough.
*For Good *begins with Glinda addressing her new subjects, after she accepts the great and terrible responsibility of spokesperson for the scheming Wizard at the end of *Wicked*. Elphaba, meanwhile, uncovering the Wizard and Madame Morrible's nefarious plot, defies them all — and gravity in the process — breaking out of the Emerald City on broomstick and whizzing off into sunset. Infamy follows, as a propaganda campaign transforms her from an altruistic crusader into the most feared Bad Witch in Oz.
How Fiyero, Nessarose, and the rest fit into the high-flying conclusion will be revealed when *Wicked: For Good *premieres in theaters on Nov. 21.
