Timothée Chalamet isn't giving up his act.
The "Marty Supreme" star, known for his playful relationship with the press, responded in a recent interview to dogged speculation that he is actually EsDeeKid, the viral British rapper who performs with his face obscured.
"I got no comment on that. No, I mean, I got no comment," Chalamet told hosts on the British radio program "Heart Breakfast" Thursday. Fans have noted the similarity of their faces, and hypothesized that EsDeeKid may be Chalamet's alter ego.
"I've got two words on that," he said on the program, which aired Dec. 11. "Two words: All will be revealed in due time. That was a little more than two words."

Cracking a coy smile, Chalamet seemed to lean into the bit, refusing to disavow entirely the idea that, while shooting movies and gracing red carpets with girlfriend Kylie Jenner, he is also somehow moonlighting as a rapper from Liverpool.

The intentional confusion is right on brand for the "Little Women" star, who enjoys a cult fan following and seems unafraid to make his own rules in the public eye. His press run for "Marty Supreme" has already included tongue-in-cheek bits, a giant orange blimp, and matching leather outfits with Jenner for the New York premiere.

EsDeeKid, who performs with a balaclava over his face, released his debut album, "Rebel," earlier this year. He has managed to keep the details of his identity largely a mystery, though many feel his eyes starkly resemble Chalamet's. The actor, 29, has a well-documented love of rap, even performing in high school as Lil Timmy Tim in a now viral video from 2012.
"Let me tell you, Lil Timmy does not have the same ring to it," Chalamet said on "Heart Breakfast."
Many fans similarly believe "Riverdale" star KJ Apa has been masquerading as Mr. Fantasy, another musical alter ego, in recent months. Apa has not confirmed these reports.
"I've prepared my whole life for this, some would say," Mr. Fantasy told USA TODAY in a November interview. "In terms of the music, I've always been writing music, and there are riddles inside of me that are ready to be shared with the world, and I feel that I am just a vessel for those riddles, for those tales."
