Don't let the unsettling trailer fool you, the vibes between Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson were all good on the set of *Die My Love*.
During a recent appearance on the *Las Culturistas *podcast, the Oscar-winning actress revealed that she felt very comfortable working alongside Pattinson while shooting the psychodrama romance, especially when it came to filming intimate scenes.
"We did dance lessons together, which was like team building exercises," she told hosts Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers. "In the end, it ended up being more helpful just for choreography of sex scenes and fighting scenes."
Asked if the production had an intimacy coordinator, Lawrence was unsure, but explained that she didn't feel the need to call upon one while working through the film's sex scenes with Pattinson.

"We did not have one or maybe we did, but we didnāt really⦠I felt really safe with him," she shared. "He's not pervy and he's very in love with [partner] Suki [Waterhouse]. We mostly were talking about our kids and relationships so there wasn't any weird, like, 'Does he think I like him?'"
She added, "If there was a little bit of that I would probably have an intimacy coordinator. A lot of male actors get offended if you donāt want to f--- them, and then the punishment starts. But he was not like that, for the record."
In a prior interview with *Brut Magazine*, on the heels of the film's Cannes Film Festival premiere, Lawrence and Pattinson confirmed that they did in fact have an intimacy coordinator on set for *Die My Love* ā but felt comfortable enough to film the scenes without much guidance.
"On our first day of shooting, we were naked, attacking each other like tigers," Lawrence joked.
Pattinson added, "You think you can't get more embarrassed and then they're like, 'Now do it naked.'"

The *Twilight* alum then took care to acknowledge how having an intimacy coordinator on board made a big difference. "It's not just to feel secure sometimes, " he explained. "I think directors sometimes are a little bit scared to say, like, 'Your body looks weird in this angle.' And if you have someone else whose specific job is to say, 'Just move a little bit in this direction,' you're gonna like it more."
Intimacy coordinators have emerged as a crucial role in Hollywood and theater in the wake of the #MeToo movement. SAG-AFTRA, the labor union representing actors and others in the entertainment industry, describes the role as "an advocate, a liaison between actors and production, and a movement coach and/or choreographer in regards to nudity and simulated sex in intimate and other hyper exposed scenes."

Elsewhere in her *Las Culturistas *conversation, Lawrence shared that she also felt perfectly fine with appearing nude in the movie, which was filmed while she was pregnant with her second child.
"I donāt care about nudity. Iām not sensitive about it," she told the hosts. "I think being pregnant took a lot of, like, vanity anxiety away. Before *No Hard Feelings*, I was dieting and not eating carbs and working out. I was pregnant [in *Die My Love*]. What was I gonna do? Not eat?"
Lawrence said that at one point, production sent over a shot from the movie with "a close-up of cellulite" and asked if she wanted them to touch it up in editing.
"I was like, āNo. Thatās an ass,'" she said.
*Die My Love* stars Lawrence and Pattinson as a couple whose marriage unravels amid mounting psychological distress. Billed as a dark comedy and psychological thriller, the film hits theaters on Nov. 7.
