Oh Shiz! Jonathan Bailey has been named PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive 2025 and, honestly, it’s easy to see why.

The 37-year-old British actor caught most people's attention as the dutiful Anthony Bridgerton in Shonda Rhimes’ regency romance *Bridgerton *back in 2020 and, in the years since, has gone on to sing and dance his way through life and deeper into our hearts as the fierce Fiyero in Jon M. Chu’s film adaptation of *Wicked*. Plus, he also happens to be a fashion icon *and* survived being chased by dinosaurs in *Jurassic World Rebirth*.

From hot scientists to charming aristocrats to dancing princes, here are Bailey’s sexiest onscreen roles thus far.

While Bailey first appeared as the loyal Anthony in the first season of *Bridgerton*, it wasn’t until his and Kate’s (Simone Ashley) love story took center stage in the Netflix series’ second season that he really began to steal everyone’s hearts with his extra dramatic love declarations. There’s a reason why the enemies-to-lovers trope is so popular in the romance book community, and Bailey and Ashley only helped further prove it as their icy onscreen clashes slowly melted into a fiery (and definitely temperature-raising) romance. Fellow Travelers (2023)

Following the success of *Bridgerton*, Bailey found himself swept up in yet another romance in Showtime’s *Fellow Travelers*. The series chronicles the decades-long relationship between Bailey’s bright-eyed and idealistic young congressional staffer Tim and Matt Bomer’s stern State Department official, Hawk. Spoiler alert: Tim’s pure heart and hopeless romantic side not only won over Hawk, but everyone watching the show, too.

Here’s the inside scoop: Long before he was Anthony or Tim, Bailey was chasing down the truth as journalist Olly Stevens in the hit British crime drama *Broadchurch*. And, sure, yeah, his dogged pursuit of the next story *may* have led him to completely abandon all of his journalistic principles in order to get a story, but that intense ambition is kind of attractive, right?

Heartstopper (2024)

Bailey made an adorable guest appearance in season 3 of *Heartstopper* as Charlie’s (Joe Locke) celebrity crush, Jack Maddox. However, despite Charlie’s known infatuation, it’s his boyfriend Nick (Kit Connor) who ends up seriously flustered after they meet Jack at a book signing event, further proving that no one is immune to Bailey’s natural charm.

Wicked (2024)

Not to get too corny over here, but Bailey really shows off his star power as Fiyero in the first *Wicked* installment. Not only are his singing and dancing skills top notch, but he slowly transforms the self-absorbed slacker into a caring and thoughtful individual by the end of its runtime. There’s a reason Fiyero charmed both Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) and Galinda (Ariana Grande), after all!

Jurassic World Rebirth (2025)

Everyone loves a hero, and so it only makes sense that everyone fell for Bailey’s *Jurassic World Rebirth* character Dr. Henry Loomis when he appeared in the latest chapter of the big screen dinosaur franchise. He’s intelligent, altruistic, and cares deeply about the ethical ramifications of their mission — all while being entirely out of his depth and chased around by massive dinos. What’s not to love?

Bailey may have been sexy in* Jurassic World Rebirth*, but it was what he did offscreen while promoting the movie that really had tongues wagging — including his own! Slutty little sunglasses, toes out on the red carpet, and a series of smooches heard ‘round the world: No one was having more fun on the *Jurassic World Rebirth* press tour than Bailey. He and his costar Scarlett Johansson sent the internet into a tizzy when they exchanged several red carpet kisses while promoting the action flick, with the actor, who is gay, later telling *Entertainment Tonight *that “life’s too short” not to kiss your besties. And, honestly, as long as everyone’s cool and consenting, good for them!

Wicked: For Good (2025)

Talk about a-*maize*-ing news: Bailey is bringing Fiyero back to the big screen in *Wicked: For Good* later this month.
