As* 19 Kids and Counting* star Joseph Duggar faces child sex abuse allegations, the reality TV has received support from sister-in-law Anna Duggar.

According to PEOPLE, the 37-year-old wife of his older brother Josh Duggar was the first family member to contact Joseph following his arrest. While Joseph was detained in solitary confinement at the Washington County Detention Facility, Anna sent an email letting the reality TV star know she is here to help — offering advice likely learned from her own husband's legal issues. Josh is currently serving a 12-year sentence for possessing child pornography.

"Hey Joseph! Bro, you’ve got our prayers. We love you — however we can help, please let us know," Anna said in an email obtained by PEOPLE that was sent on March 21, three days after Joseph was booked into custody.

Anna let Joseph know she'd sent him money to use for buying commissary items or calling his wife Kendra, while also offering advice for his time behind bars.

"Just remember, don’t talk about anything legal unless you are with an attorney," Anna wrote. "Everything said in these messages, phone calls, and video chats are recorded and turned over to prosecutors."

Touching on the fact that Josh was detained at the same facility for his own arrest in 2021, Anna wrote that her husband's time there was "fairly safe" but emphasized Joseph should reach out "if there are any concerns for your health, or safety." She added that the commissary could have a two-week delay, and in the event Joseph was detained for a lengthy time, she wanted to make sure she could "send some goodies" to him.

Anna ended her email by commending Joseph's wife Kendra for her strength, and that she was praying for her brother-in-law.

Joseph was released on March 31 on $600,000 bond hours after appearing before a judge and pleading not guilty to child molestation charges. He is due back in court April 20.

Joseph is accused of molesting a 9-year-old girl while on vacation in Panama City, Fla., in 2020. The victim, now 14, reported the alleged incident to the Tontitown Police Department in Arkansas, which then contacted authorities in Florida.

Joseph admitted his actions to local detectives as well as the victim’s father, who confronted him on March 17, according to a police statement. The following day, he was arrested on charges of lewd and lascivious molestation of a victim less than 12 years old and lewd and lascivious behavior conducted by a person 18 years or older.

His wife Kendra was arrested two days after her husband on unrelated charges. The two have been charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, second degree, as well as four counts of false imprisonment, second degree. **
