Kate Gosselin shared a rare photo of her boyfriend two months after teasing that she was in a serious relationship. On Nov. 8, the former Jon and Kate Plus 8 star posted to Instagram to reveal 10 of her biggest obsessions—and one of them was her new man.
“One girl. 10 things I’m obsessed with,” Gosselin, 50, captioned a slideshow of photos.
After sharing that her first obsession was her kids, the mom of eight went on to No. 2. “My boyfriend,” she wrote as she shared photos of her and her beau posing on the beach and another amid palm trees. Other obsessions for the longtime reality TV personality included her dogs, travel, and pizza.

Fans reacted in the comments section, with many recognizing Gosselin’s boyfriend as her former bodyguard, Steve Neild, who sometimes appeared on camera on her reality shows.

Buzz about Gosselin’s love life started in September after she posted a TikTok fan Q&A. The former TLC star, who split from her ex-husband Jon in 2009 after 10 years of marriage, told fans she had been in a romantic relationship for “a little over a year, maybe 14, 15 months.”
She also noted that her boyfriend didn’t “really like to be on TikToks,” but she teased a possible “peep” of him every so often.
In September, Page Six confirmed that Gosselin was in a live-in relationship with Neild, who was her bodyguard during the height of her reality TV fame. Neild began working with Gosselin in 2008, when she was still married to her husband, and the bodyguard was also married at that time, the outlet reported.
In 2009, Gosselin was accused of having an affair with Neild amid her breakup from Jon, but she called the cheating reports "disgusting“ and "unthinkable," adding that she was "horrified" by the rumors, according to People magazine. A decade later, she looked for love on the TLC reality series “Kate Plus Date.”
Neild and his wife, Gina, divorced in 2023 after 33 years of marriage, according to Us Weekly.
