The 9-1-1 spinoff 9-1-1: Nashville premiered on Oct. 9 on ABC

The series stars Chris O'Donnell, who is a dad to five kids in real life

Other parents in the cast include Kimberly Williams-Paisley, who has two sons with her husband, country singer Brad Paisley

The firefighters of Station 113 on 9-1-1: Nashville are like a family, and in real life, the show's cast has fulfilling personal lives as well, which includes their children.

The latest 9-1-1 spinoff, which premiered on Oct. 9, follows Captain Don Hart (Chris O'Donnell) as his professional and personal lives merge.

While putting out flames alongside his son, fellow firefighter Ryan Hart (Michael Provost), Don's past comes back in an unexpected way. It comes to light that he has a secret son named Blue Bennings (Hunter McVey), who also joins the Station 113 crew.

O'Donnell is no stranger to playing a dad, having five kids of his own. The actor is only one of several cast members on 9-1-1: Nashville who are parents. Kimberly Williams-Paisley has two sons, Jessica Capshaw has four children and Juani Feliz has one.

Here’s everything to know about the kids of the 9-1-1: Nashville cast members.

O'Donnell leads the 9-1-1: Nashville cast, playing Captain Don Hart.

The Batman & Robin actor has been married to his wife, Caroline Fentress, since 1997. About two years later, the couple started a family with the birth of their daughter, Lily.

O'Donnell and Fentress went on to welcome sons Christopher Jr. in 2000, Charlie in 2003 and Finley O'Donnell in 2006. Their youngest child, daughter Maeve, was born in 2007.

During a 2008 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, O'Donnell spoke about his large family, saying, "We’re not going to be the Duggars. We’re going to stop at five, because five is a handful."

Nearly all of O'Donnell's children appeared on the actor's previous series, NCIS: Los Angeles. Notably, Charlie played the younger version of O'Donnell's character G. Callen.

Today, Lily is also working in the entertainment industry. According to her LinkedIn, she is a member of the distribution department at Lionsgate.

Jessica Capshaw plays Blythe Hart, the wife of O'Donnell's character.

The Grey's Anatomy alum and her husband, Christopher Gavigan, share four kids: Luke, Eve, Poppy and Josephine.

The pair welcomed their only son, Luke, in Sept. 2007, followed by their eldest daughter, Eve, in Oct. 2010. Poppy and Josephine were later born in June 2012 and May 2016, respectively.

Throughout her time in Hollywood, Capshaw has learned to juggle career and family as a working mom.

“Listen, when it’s hard, it’s really hard. And I’ve always said this: There is no balance to being a working-outside-the-house mom," she told PEOPLE in April 2017. "There’s probably not even a balance to being a working-inside-the-house mom."

"You have to give up certain things in order to get other things," the actress added.

Williams-Paisley plays Cammie Raleigh, a 9-1-1 dispatcher.

The actress married country music star Brad Paisley in 2003, and the couple share two sons: Huck, born in Feb. 2007, and Jasper, born in April 2009.

In recent years, the actress' sons helped her when she suffered a “weird, mysterious health scare.”

After suddenly losing her voice in November 2022, Williams-Paisley was later diagnosed with a partially paralyzed vocal cord. She underwent surgery to correct it, but "could barely speak for two years," as she told PEOPLE in December 2024.

She said her sons were "great cheerleaders" during the ordeal.

"At an event, they knew if someone I wanted to talk to was walking away and I couldn't get them, and they'd get them for me," Williams-Paisley continued. "They're used to assisting me, which is really sweet."
