Attention islanders: we got a text! 'Love Island USA' announced the highly anticipated Season 8 cast list on Thursday. The 12 islanders will be the first to enter the villa on June 2.
Though none of the announced cast members are from New York, a few of them have some interesting connections to the Empire State. Besides, we still might get the chance to see a fellow New Yorker enter the villa as a "bombshell," like Season 7 winner, Amaya "Papaya" Espinal.
Here is everything you about the first 12 'Love Island USA' cast members ahead of the show's June 2 premiere.

Aniya Harvey -
Hometown: Tyrone, Georgia
Education/ Profession: Harvey's Instagram states that she graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing. Her LinkedIn says that she is an "Insurance Professional in Training."
Fun fact: Her dad is Donnell Harvey, a former NBA player who was selected by the New York Knicks as the 22nd overall pick in the first round of the 2000 NBA Draft before he was immediately traded over to the Dallas Mavericks.

Beatriz Hatz -
Hometown: San Diego
Profession: Hartz is a Paralympian in track and field.
Fun fact: She was born without a fibula in her right leg, which led to it being amputated below her right knee, according to her Team USA profile. Hartz is a two-time Paralympian (Tokyo 2020, Paris 2024) and a one-time Paralympic medalist, winning bronze in women’s long jump T64 during the 2024 Paris Summer Paralympics.

Kenzie Annis -
Hometown: Kennesaw, Georgia
Education/ Profession: Annis graduated from nursing school at Kennesaw State University in May 2026.
Fun Fact: In her promo for the 'Love Island USA' cast announcement, Annis said that she graduated from nursing school just days before leaving for the show. She also said she wants a large family with five to ten kids.

How to watch 'Love Island USA'
'Love Island USA' will stream exclusively on Peacock at 9 p.m. ET starting on June 2. Episodes will air daily except for Wednesdays, with "Aftersun" airing on Saturdays.
