‘RHOBH’ Star Reveals Why She Ended Her Marriage: 'It Was the Best Decision'

Real Housewives of Beverly Hillsstar and famed celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe is opening up about her split from her estranged husband, Rodger Berman.

In a March 2026 interview on The Inside Edit, Zoe noted that RHOBH season 15 cameras were rolling when it was announced she and Berman were filing for divorce in 2025. The former couple, who share two sons, Skyler, 15, and Kaius, 13, wed in 1998.

Zoe shared she "knew it was time" to end her marriage because she "was spending more time sad than [she] was happy." She also revealed that she started wanting to go out without Berman, which she hadn't previously done.

"I just was done being, like, sad," said Zoe during the interview.

She also said she didn't feel like she "had a failed marriage" or "married the totally wrong person." However, she said, "in hindsight, it was the best decision" she made to end her marriage.

"And one that I probably should have done earlier," said Zoe during the March 2026 interview.

Rachel Zoe Said She Feels Freer Following Her Split

In a March 2026 interview withAccess Hollywood, Zoe shared how she's been feeling since filing for divorce.

"I think I'm happy. I feel the freest and lightest and most like myself that I have in probably 10 years. It was time for my marriage to be over. I think that I've been more honest, I think, and open partly because things were happening in real time and I was wearing a mic," said the 54-year-old in reference to her decision to join the RHOBH cast for its current 15th season.

The former Rachel Zoe Project star also said she hoped to "help as many people as possible" who were in similar situations to her during her marriage so they "can really live the rest of their lives happy."
