EW has reached out to a representative for the *Today* show for comment.
Guthrie's family's search for her missing mother has remained in national headlines for months, after the 84-year-old disappeared in the early morning hours of Feb. 1.
Both local authorities and the FBI have investigated the case, with no significant information related to Nancy's whereabouts uncovered to date. DNA evidence was recovered at Nancy's home, which authorities declared a crime scene days after she disappeared.
