The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul burst onto the reality TV scene amid a swinging scandal that shook the Mormon community in Salt Lake City. The scandal involved some TikTok influencers attempting to spice up their marriages by swapping partners.

Of course, the whole thing blew up and spawned a hit TV show. But following her divorce and a fling with Dakota Mortensen, which produced her third child Ever, Taylor was “angry with myself.” She wondered whether she was “worthy of love.”

So of course ABC chose her to be the next Bachelorette. Watch the teaser below to see what we can expect in Season 22.

Taylor Frankie Paul is looking for love on The Bachelorette Season 22

“As a single mom, I want to better myself,” she says in voiceover. In addition to nearly two-year-old Ever, Taylor shares two children with her ex-husband Tate Paul: daughter Indy, 8, and son Ocean, 5.

“Pulling yourself out of darkness, that’s something you should be proud of,” her mom Liann tells her in a clip from Secret Lives.

“I haven’t dated,” Taylor admits. “I need to get back into it. I’m ready to find love.”

“Maybe all I need to do is be my own true self,” she says, breaking herself out of her cell phone with her stiletto. “[I just need to] have a little faith.”

ABC must have paid the big bucks for this promo, since they play Taylor Swift’s Look What You Made Me Do to conclude the video.

Actually, Taylor may have a complicated past, but she’s a smart, beautiful young woman who’s also honest and straight-forward. She won’t take any bullsh*t from her suitors. This may just be one of the most interesting Bachelorette seasons after all.

The Bachelorette Season 22 premieres March 22 on ABC and streams the following day on Hulu.
