While discussing how she would be making "surgical tweakings" to the tracks as she sorted the order of the songs for The Tortured Poets Department portion of the show, Swift can be seen singing lyrics from some of the tracks in her rehearsal space.
After singing a snippet of "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?," Swift jokes that she's "gonna have a mental breakdown during this song." "It's gonna be so fun," she adds.
In a voiceover for the episode, Swift says, "My goal for the Eras Tour is that I didn't want the fans to leave thinking they missed out on anything. One thing I've always tried to do is like give something to the fans that they didn't expect."
She notes that when she.had done the first half of the tour, fans didn't know she was writing The Tortured Poets Department.
"In the middle of releasing the album, we had to be all hands on deck creating a brand new 'era' to put into the show to represent that album," says Swift.
The End of an Era, a six-part docuseries following "the development, impact, and inner-workings that created the phenomenon that was the Eras Tour," according to a press release, is out now.
It offers "an intimate look at Taylor’s life as her tour made headlines and thrilled fans around the world."
The first two episodes of the show are on Disney+. Each week, two new episodes will be released.
