The End of an Era has begun.
The new Taylor Swift docuseries, The End of an Era, is taking fans behind the scenes for an intimate look at the life of the showgirl during her history-making Eras Tour, which concluded in December 2024.
"This show created a bonding experience for, like, 70,000 people all at once. There's something very special about that," said the "Father Figure" singer in the trailer for the multi-part documentary.
"This was a seismic, momentous period of time in my life and in the lives of anyone who this tour touched," she continued. "This was the biggest challenge any of us have ever done."
While the first two episodes of the highly anticipated documentary are streaming now, there is plenty more in store for fans.

The first two episodes of Taylor Swift's docuseries, The End of an Era, premiered on Dec. 12.
The End of an Era debuted on the same day as Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour - The Final Show, a concert film capturing the closing night of The Eras Tour. The final performance took place more than a year ago, on Dec. 8, 2024, in Vancouver, Canada.
The live recording of the final show features footage of Swift performing tracks from her album The Tortured Poets Department, which was not included in the first Eras Tour concert film.

The End of an Era consists of six episodes.
It has been more than a year since Swift closed out her The Eras Tour in December 2024. Looking back at the massive concert experience, Swift knew it was something special, as she said during a Dec. 10 appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
"I didn't realize it was gonna be this until you started hearing about people's experiences at the show," she told Stephen Colbert. "Because my whole life I've been trying to study how do you not like just entertain people, but really transport them out of their problems, their life, their stresses? How do you really create a sense of escape?"
Swift recalled reading about fans leaving the Eras Tour with "post-concert amnesia ... they were getting, like, joy blackouts," she continued. "And I was like, 'Oh man, I think this one is different.' "

The first two episodes of The End of an Era premiered on Dec. 12. Two episodes will continue to drop weekly until Dec. 26.

New episodes of The End of an Era will come out at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. on Fridays.
Not only will the multi-part documentary follow Swift on the road, but it will also include some appearances by the special guest stars and friends from the Eras Tour.
"In addition, the series features Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran and Florence Welch, along with her band, dancers, crew and family members," read a press release for The End of an Era. "Offering never-before-seen insight into what it took to create a phenomenon."
The docuseries is directed by Don Argott and co-directed by Sheena M. Joyce.
