- The *Real Housewives of Beverly Hills* alum's podcast cohost, Tamra Judge, jokingly offered, "I'm taking it tomorrow if you wanna start with me."
Teddi Mellencamp is in the midst of cancer treatment — but she has some other health concerns.
The *Real Housewives of Beverly Hills* alum got candid about a conversation she had with her doctor during an episode of her podcast.
"I am a health and wellness coach who's dying of cancer," she said, laughing, as she began her story on *Two Ts in a Pod. *"And because I gained weight from the steroids [from my treatment], because I'm getting bigger from the steroids, I asked my doctor if I could please have GLP-1s. And he was like, 'No!'"
Her cohost, Tamra Judge, suggested securing the weight-loss drugs through other means. "I'm so sorry someone told you no," she said, "but I don't know that I'd listen!"
"I mean, I know people where I could get it," Mellencamp responded. "I have friends that do it."
Judge later offered, "Well, I'm taking it tomorrow if you wanna start with me."

"Let me live," Mellencamp said as she expressed frustration with her doctor. "You tell me to live my best life, but I don't even get… Live your best life? Where are my GLP-1s?"
Judge then speculated that her doctor not allowing her to take GLP-1s might mean that they expect her to have a full recovery. "I think maybe someone's lying," she said. "I don't think you're dying. Because [if you were dying,] he would've said, 'Oh, if that's what you want, sure! Take that, go do some coke, go snort whatever you want!'"

Mellencamp was diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma in 2022. She underwent 17 surgeries over the next two years as it was upgraded to stage 4. Mellencamp announced that the cancer had metastasized in March 2025. "I have three more tumors in my brain and two tumors on my lungs," she wrote in an Instagram caption at the time. "These are all a direct result of my melanoma."
Earlier this month, Mellencamp revealed that she's been dating an older man amid her cancer battle. "He's pretty good about it," the reality star said. "He's a relatively positive and logical person in general."

In March, Mellencamp presented her father, "Jack & Diane" singer John Mellencamp, with the Icon Award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, where she took the opportunity to address how the rocker supported her during her health struggles. "He stepped up, took control, fought for me, and pretty much changed my life, saved my life," the reality star said.
Once he took the stage, the musician dedicated the award to his daughter. "I'm giving this to Teddi," he said. "So that's yours."
