*The Daily Show* skewered Attorney General Pam Bondi following a combative hearing with lawmakers in which she faced questions about the Jeffrey Epstein files.**
"Congress had a lot of serious questions for her on everything from ICE to Epstein," host Jordan Klepper told the audience, "and I'm sure she handled them with the grace and maturity we have come to expect from the Trump administration."
The Comedy Central show then showed clips of Bondi testifying, well, not gracefully.
She argued with her questioners, sounding much like President Donald Trump when she told one, for instance, "You're a failed politician." She also loudly admonished another, "Shame on you!"
When it was over, Klepper joked, "I mean, you can do something like that in Congress, but when I do it in a Chili's, I get banned for life?"
To be fair, he reasoned, anyone would be in a bad mood if they had spent "the last month redacting images of old man genitals from the Epstein files," he said of the convicted sex offender. "Allegedly."
He noted that the country's attorney general usually carries some gravitas.
"It's only recently that they'd spend a congressional hearing acting like a bratty senior who got called into the principal's office," Klepper said. "Suck my d---, Principal Gilbert. I already got into ASU. You can eat it!"
More seriously, he said, the entire point of the hearings had been "justice for Jeffrey Epstein's victims. But for Pam Bondi, there's only one victim in all of this."

That would be President Donald Trump, who appears frequently in the files and whose administration has faced blowback over their release.**
The show cut to part of the hearing in which Bondi loudly said to the lawmakers, "Have you apologized to President Trump, all of you?"

At one point, Bondi even proclaimed Trump "the greatest president in American history."
Reading from notes, she began touting the economy and stumbled over her scripted words about the Dow Jones Industrial Average, when she yelled, "I don't know why you're laughing."
"If you're gonna embarrass yourself on national television like that, at least win a bronze medal," Klepper commented, referring back to earlier in his show opener when he skewered Norwegian biathlete Sturla Holm Lægreid. When interviewed on live TV about his bronze-medal win, Lægreid tearfully revealed he cheated on his ex, instead of, say, congratulating his gold-winning teammate or memorializing a recently deceased teammate.

Grace Kuhlenschmidt as the Gordie Howe bridge troll on 'The Daily Show' Feb. 11 episode.
The episode also poked fun at Trump's threats to stall the opening of the Gordie Howe International Bridge connecting Detroit and Windsor, Ontario, that was due to open this year, and his demands that Canada cede half ownership to the U.S. Trouble is, the state of Michigan is already a joint owner of the bridge.
The troll of Gordie Howe bridge (Grace Kuhlenschmidt) congratulated Klepper on solving a riddle: "It seems you solved the riddle of the bridge dispute: Give Trump a bribe, and you'll have your route."
The troll then posed three more riddles, the solutions to which were all the same.
"Riddle 1: If two companies want profits to surge, they'll need this in order to merge," she posed. "Riddle number 2: If thou desires an ocean for drilling, only this will make Trump willing.... Riddle number 3: If a 20-year sex-trafficking sentence ye face, with this, ye punishment may be erased."**
