The Most Famous Celebrity Kids Born This Month in the 1970s

Ah, the 1970s. A time before smartphones and streaming services. But everything wasn’t different back then. Even though the decade was half a century ago, music, TV, and movie fans were just as fascinated with celebrities as they are now.
What celebs had kids in the ‘70s? We went back 50 years (or so) to find out who became parents this month—and here are the rockers, award winners, silver screen stars, and models who had babies between 1970 and 1980.
Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash
While the singer-songwriter’s first four children (with his first wife Vivian Liberto) were born in the 1950s and 1960s, his fifth kiddo was a ‘70s baby. Johnny Cash had four daughters, Rosanne (born in 1955), Kathy (born in 1956), Cindy (born in 1958), and Tara (born in 1961).
Cash’s fifth child, John, was born on March 3, 1970. Not only did John have a famous father, but he also had a celeb mom. He was the only child of Cash and his second wife, performer June Carter Cash.

Keith Richards
Musician Keith Richards is best known as one of the original members of The Rolling Stones. But the rock icon is also a father to five. The musical legend has three children: Son Marlon (born August 10, 1969), son Tara (born March 26, 1976), and daughter Angela (born April 17, 1972) with model Anita Pallenberg. He also has two more children (daughters Theodora and Alexandra) with model Patti Hansen. Richards’ son, Tara, sadly died at just 10 weeks old, almost crushing the doting dad.
Mia Farrow
Actress Mia Farrow made a name for herself starring in films such as The Purple Rose of Cairo and Rosemary’s Baby. And while she gave birth to the spawn of satan on screen, in real life, she was mom to 14 children. Her first three biological kids were all born in the 1970s. But only her youngest son, Fletcher (born in 1974), was a March baby.
Peggy Lipton and Quincy Jones
The Mod Squad actress/model and the legendary music producer married in 1974. The couple has two daughters, Kidada (born on March 22, 1974) and Rashida (born on February 25, 1986). And yes, the younger sibling is Parks and Recreation star Rashida Jones.
Jimmy Page
Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page has five children with birthdates spanning the ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s. Eldest child, daughter Scarlet Lilith Eleida Page (from Page’s relationship with Charlotte Martin), was born on March 24, 1971.

Of course, these aren't the only famous parents of the 1970s. Other celebs who had children during the decade include Steven Tyler (Liv Tyler was born in 1977, and sisterMia Tyler was born one year later), Michael Douglas (son Cameron was born in December of 1978), Meryl Streep (son Henry Wolfe was born in 1979), Robert DeNiro (adopted daughter Drena was born in 1971 and biological son Raphael was born in 1976), Mick Jagger (Karis Hunt Jagger was born in November of 1970) and Goldie Hawn (actress daughterKate Hudson was born April 19, 1979 and son Oliver was born September 7, 1976).
