At 83, Joy Behar isn't slowing down now — in fact, she's turning up the heat, and not just at *The View*'s Hot Topics table.
After *View* producer Brian Teta inquired with Behar on the *Behind the Table* podcast about a buzzy "incident" that swept through the show's staff in recent days, the star opened up about an experience she had with a much younger man who incessantly flirted with her while they played cards at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut.
“I was sitting in the middle there at the table, and he was on the end. He suddenly throws a $100 bill at me. Like, to play. Money! I said, 'I don’t need your money, whoever you are, I have my own money.' He throws it back at me again!" Behar said on the show, adding that she didn't think the man recognized her "from television," and had no idea that she was a public figure.**

Teta, Behar's boss, then asked, "Were you giving signals?" and "What were you wearing? Were you tarted up for the night?" — which Behar, who's married to a man, Steve, she met at a nudist colony, denied.
Behar then recalled that the young man (whom she and Teta nicknamed "Joey") told her that "when you go back and talk about me" to your family, "this is the word you should use: stud!"
The actress and playwright added that Steve eventually joined the table. "And the guy goes, 'Who is that?’ I say, ‘That’s my husband.’ And then he says, ‘I guess we won’t be going to your room later?'"

Per Behar, Joey then threw another $100 bill at her, which incensed her husband. "Steve says, ‘Give it back to him!'" Behar noted.
Behar said she ultimately relented, and played cards with half of the money Joey gave her, because she ended up losing about $50 during the game. She said she gave the other half back to the man.
Still, Teta pushed back, telling Behar, "This reminds me very much of the hit '90s movie* Indecent Proposal*. I think by accepting the money from him… I think you owe him a little something."**
"I owe him nothing. I owe him zero,” Behar replied, though *View* producer Teta doubled down, telling his on-air talent, "You basically ordered the lobster dinner on the date."
Behar ultimately celebrated the exchange, telling Teta, "First of all, what we can get from this entire conversation is that the old broad has still got it. That’s it. There’s nothing else to talk about!"
She continued, "He likes an older woman, because I could’ve been his grandmother," before circling back to Teta's prior claim that Behar owed the man something because she accepted his money: "There’s something about it. What are you, my pimp?" she said.

Behar's traveling escapades often include comedic exchanges with other people, including a 2023 vacation to Europe that saw her call an Italian woman a "bitch" because the stewardess wouldn't let her use a private restroom on a train.
Behar also made headlines on Tuesday's episode of *The View,* after she skipped an interview with *American Idol* judge Carrie Underwood more than a year after publicly criticizing the singer's decision to perform at Donald Trump's second inauguration. ** later learned from a source that the move stemmed from a "production decision" often made when multiple interview subjects require more room to sit comfortably at the Hot Topics table.
*The View *airs weekdays on ABC. Listen to Behar's latest appearance on *Behind the Table* in the podcast episode above.
