The country song may go, "All my exes live in Texas," but on *9-1-1: Nashville* there are plenty in Tennessee, too.

** has an exclusive preview of the ABC first-responder drama's season 1 finale, in which Don (Chris O'Donnell) arrives to confront his ex Dixie (LeAnn Rimes) — only it seems like that fiery energy may turn from anger to passion.

"Dix, thanks for letting me stop by. Where is everybody?" Don — who is married to and has a grown son with socialite Blythe (Jessica Capshaw) but later fathered a son with Dixie during a brief split in his marriage — says as he enters a recording studio.

"Our next session ain't for a couple more hours. You know I like to come in early and… own my space," Dixie replies, not so subtly pausing before the end of her sentence.

In last week's penultimate episode, Dixie released a diss track revealing secrets from Blythe's past. Things have always been tense between Dixie and Blythe, the latter recently making Don promise not to spend time alone with his ex.

"You know you're breaking the rules doing this without a chaperone, don't you?" Dixie says in the clip.

"Since when do you want to care about the rules?" Don replies.

"Wait, does wifey even know you're here?" she responds.

"What she doesn't know's not gonna hurt her," Don says uncharacteristically.

"Ooh. Naughty, naughty," Dixie coos.

"This war you started with Blythe over this stupid diss track, it needs to end," Don says, sounding more like himself.

"Oh, come on now. We both know this war started long before this track," Dixie counters. "Oh, Blythe must be really suffering for you to come all the way out here hat in hand."

"She's not the only one who's suffering. It's hurting me too," Don confesses. "Dixie, you need to shut this down now before it's too late."

"Oh yeah? Or what are you gonna do?" she says as they get closer and exchange looks like they want to be more than exes.

Of course, that's when the preview ends.

The *9-1-1: Nashville* season 1 finale airs tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
