Though it wasn't quite an all-hands-on-deck, all-out Full Goldberg Collapse™ moment at the Hot Topics table, *The View* moderator Whoopi Goldberg still amusingly danced Tuesday on the edge of consciousness during a particularly agonizing discussion on the talk show.
Goldberg's latest brush with fake fainting came amid a dramatic setup for a Hot Topic she really didn't want to discuss on the talk show.
"This requires you to really stick with me when I tell you this," Goldberg said, moments before not, uh, sticking with the conversation overall. She went on to recount a woman who spent 40 weekends driving to a man's house to spend time with him, eating dinner with his family, sleeping at their house, and eventually driving home on Sunday afternoons.**

Her boyfriend then said that his mother felt "tension" over her absence, with Goldberg pointing out that Reddit users commented advice for the woman, noting that she should leave the man — and his family — behind.
"Now, wake me when you're done," Goldberg said, before handing the segment off to her cohosts. As the group chatted, an increasingly disinterested Goldberg lowered her head to her hand, struggling to maintain alertness during the wider chat.
Near the end, Sunny Hostin looked over toward the EGOT-winning Hollywood icon to note, "We're done, Whoopi!"

Joy Behar then advised, "Wake up!" as Goldberg sprung to life, telling the audience, "We'll be right back" as the show went to a commercial break.
Tuesday's display marks the latest in a long lineage of iconic instances of Goldberg collapsing at the table. Goldberg previously tapped out while chatting about Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's relationship, Donald Trump, and coverage of the *Real Housewives* reality TV franchise.
