Dylan Efron has finally shared his movie-star brother Zac Efron's reaction to his Dancing With the Stars viral moment.
"Zac got defensive," Dylan revealed on Tuesday's episode of The Smith Sisters Live, recalling the clip captured by the DWTS cameras back in November on season 34's Prince Night. Fans who caught the brief moment giggled at the High School Musical star seeming to question how scoring works on the reality competition series.
Dylan explained that his older brother had asked simply, "Is that a good score?" when him and pro partner Danielle Karagach were evaluated.
The podcast host explained that some people online thought the Iron Claw star had really asked, "Is that their high score?"
"I actually did speak to Zac about this," Dylan said. "But then Zac was like, 'Oh, no.' He's like, 'They're misinterpreting it." And I can't remember what he was saying, but I think he said that he thought it was a really good dance. So he's like, 'Is that is that the highest score they would give?'"

Apparently, the elder Efron simply thought that night that his little bro's score was lower than it should be.
Dylan and his partner performed both a cha-cha to 1986 track "Kiss" and a tango to 1984's "I Would Die 4 U," with the latter spurring the much speculated upon moment on the Nov. 18 episode. The partners walked away with a 27 for that spin on the dance floor (out of 30) and a fourth-place finish overall.
"So I think he was more like that should have been higher or something like that," Dylan said. "It was funny regardless, but Zac got defensive. He's like, 'No, they misinterpreted what I meant.'"
Before he was eliminated, the younger Efron had said on the show that Zac has "always taken care of me and he did things that were so selfless."
Robert Irwin and pro partner Witney Carson ended up taking the trophy on the season 34 finale on Nov. 24.
